首届“黄腹角雉杯”国际观鸟摄影大赛
为了充分展示生态文明建设成果,促进明溪县鸟类保护、生态观鸟旅游发展,结合明溪丰富的鸟类资源和生态优势,借助中国鸟网作为中国最大的生态影像门户网站的平台优势,以及在保护野生鸟类与人鸟和谐方面的行业影响力;以海峡两岸(三明)林业博览会为契机,由福建省明溪县人民政府主办首届“黄腹角雉杯”国际观鸟摄影大赛。
本届大赛采用美国摄影学会(PSA)比赛规则,获奖者将授予美国摄影学会(PSA)奖牌以及与中国鸟网联合颁发的获奖证书。
中国及世界各地的摄影师均可参加本届大赛。

本届大赛共分自然类和公开类两个类别,共设立四个组:鸟类肖像组、鸟类故事组、鸟类环境组、艺术创意组。
1、鸟类肖像组[自然类]:野生鸟类肖像类摄影作品,再现野生鸟类的精彩瞬间,可以是鸟类全貌,也可是局部特写,作品中不得含有建筑、电线、车辆等任何人为元素。
2、鸟类故事组[自然类]:再现野生鸟类以及鸟类之间、鸟类与其他野生动物之间有一定故事情节的摄影作品,可以是嬉戏、打斗、追逐、亲昵等精彩瞬间,但作品中不得含有建筑、电线、车辆等任何人为元素。
3、鸟类环境组[公开类]:即鸟类与环境的摄影作品,包括野生鸟类与自然环境、鸟类风光片以及环境对鸟类的影响等,作品中可以有建筑、电线、车辆等任何人为元素。
4、艺术创意组[公开类]:所有生态类题材和表现形式的摄影作品,都可以参加本组比赛,如动物(包括鸟类、鱼类、昆虫)、景观、风光、PS创意作品等。
在上述四组中,每组分别设立金奖1名、银奖1名、铜奖1名、最佳奖3名、优秀奖10名、入围奖若干名。
1、金奖共4名:各奖励人民币2万元奖品,颁发美国摄影学会(PSA)金牌,联合颁发美国摄影学会与中国鸟网授予的获奖证书。
2、银奖共4名:各奖励人民币1万元奖品,颁发美国摄影学会(PSA)银牌,联合颁发美国摄影学会与中国鸟网授予的获奖证书。
3、铜奖共4名:各奖励人民币5000元奖品,颁发美国摄影学会(PSA)铜牌,联合颁发美国摄影学会与中国鸟网授予的获奖证书。
4、最佳奖共12名:各奖励人民币1000元奖品,颁发美国摄影学会(PSA)绶带奖,联合颁发美国摄影学会与中国鸟网授予的获奖证书。
5、优秀奖(绶带奖)40名:各奖励人民币500元奖品,颁发美国摄影学会(PSA)绶带奖,联合颁发美国摄影学会与中国鸟网授予的获奖证书。
6、入围奖(投稿图片总数的20%):联合颁发美国摄影学会与中国鸟网授予的获奖证书。
7、设立“2020国际自然摄影师大奖”1名:本届大赛个人获奖作品总积分排列第一名者,奖励人民币4万元奖品,颁发奖牌和荣誉证书。
8、设立“黄腹角雉杯”首届国际观鸟摄影大赛人气奖4名:各奖励人民币1000元奖品,并颁发中国鸟网授予的荣誉证书。
9、遴选10名签约摄影师:在参与活动的摄影师中,将评选出10名优秀摄影师,作为与明溪县长期合作的签约摄影师,并颁发聘书,在明溪县境内可享受最优惠待遇。
10、出版获奖作品集:由鸟网设计制作2021年度明溪观鸟日历摄影优秀作品集。
11、其他奖励:
A. 获奖作者将加入中国野生动物保护协会生态影像文化委员会。
B. 国际自然摄影师晋级积分奖励:金奖积6分,银奖积5分,铜奖积4分,最佳奖积3分,绶带奖积2分,入围奖积1分。
C. 中国鸟网生态摄影师晋级积分奖励:金奖积150分,银奖积120分,铜奖积90分,最佳奖积和人气奖60分,绶带奖积20分,入围奖积10分。
1、本届大赛的参赛作品,须拍摄于明溪境内或者以明溪县鸟类名录中的鸟种为创作对象,拍摄时间不限。
2、本届大赛只接受数码图像投稿。
3、本届大赛不接受组图。
4、参赛图片必须是JPG格式,横图与竖图的长边均在1920像素以内,分辨率为300dpi,文件不超过3MB。
5、每张作品要有一个标题,标题中不能使用任何符号。
6、参赛个人信息中要写姓名、网名,不允许使用别名。
7、提交的参赛作品必须是作者本人原创,必须对参赛作品拥有版权;本次大赛的主办方对参赛者的违约行为或参赛作品的版权不承担任何责任。
8、参赛者可以用Photoshop、Lightroom等软件对图像做后期处理,但是必须符合比赛的分类要求和规则。
9、大赛组办方将谨慎保管参赛作品,但对运输或传输过程中的损坏或被盗、丢失等不负任何责任。
1、本届大赛将遵循美国摄影学会(PSA)比赛规则。
2、所有参赛作品必须符合国家的法律法规,参赛者本人的原创作品及后期制作,必须全部由作者本人完成并拥有版权。
3、本次大赛公平开放,但如果主办方、赞助单位或其代理人,认为该参赛作品不符合比赛规则和条件,则该参赛作品可能会被拒绝。
4、参赛者所提交的作品将以随机次序呈现给评委。
5、参赛作品必须是参赛者用感光胶片拍摄,或以数字方式获取的照片;提交的参赛作品必须是作者本人拍摄。
6、参赛者允许主办方或赞助商免费使用其提交的全部参赛作品,以便在与大赛有关的媒体中出版或展示,若用于商业获利行为,需获得特别授权。
7、一旦图像在PSA认可的比赛中获奖,获奖作者需向主办方提供该图像相机直出的RAW文件,逾期不提供者视为放弃该奖项。
1、投稿时间:2020年8月25日零时起,至2020年10月10日23时59分止。
2、大赛启动:2020年8月25日开始,通过鸟网平台发布大赛公告,启动摄影大赛,至2020年10月10日前提交摄影作品:明溪县境内拍摄,或者明溪县鸟类名录中的鸟种(见附件1明溪县鸟类名录)。
3、邀请百名国内外知名生态(鸟类)摄影师参加“瞳镜之旅”走进明溪(具体活动方案另行通知)。
4、第一阶段,网络投票:时间为2020年10月11日-20日,每组将按照作品的得票总数,评选出首届“黄腹角雉杯”国际观鸟摄影大赛人气奖各一名。
5、第二阶段,专业评选:时间为10月14日-16日,由国际摄影比赛持证裁判对本届大赛的全部参赛作品进行评选。
6、第三阶段,作品公示:时间为10月16日-23日为大赛入选作品公示阶段,并请入选作者提供RAW原图至contest@birdnet.cn。
7、第四阶段,获奖作品发布:将在2020年11月上旬举行的海峡两岸(三明)林业博览会和中国鸟网年会上举行颁奖仪式,并举办优秀作品展。
1、参赛费用:遵循国际比赛惯例,为确保参赛作品的质量与水平,本届大赛为收费比赛:共四个目录,每个目录网上投稿仅限4张,每人最多可投16张,按人民币20元/张收取。

The 2018 International Nature and Landscape Photographic Competition (INLPC) are accepting submissions now.
The theme of this year’s competition is: Respect Nature, Respect Life.

This Competition is following the guidance of China Wildlife Conservation Association; National Zoology Museum of China; China Zoological Society.
Patronage of this competition: CAPA (Canadian Association for Photographic Art).This competition will be awarded by CAPA’s medals and awards.
This competition is divided into two categories and three divisions:
1.Division-Authentic Wildlife (Nature Category) : Photographs of wonderful moments, stories, relationships, humor, etc. of birds and other wildlife, but they do not contain any artificial elements shows “hand of man” such as roads, houses, fences, wires, etc.. This competition does not accept image contain bird nest.( To avoid any incidents which interfere with young wildlife’s in nesting environments).
2.Division-Authentic Wild Bird (Nature Category) : Photographs of wonderful moments, stories, relationships, humor, etc. of wild birds, images should not contain any artificial elements shows “hand of man” such as roads, houses, fences, wires, etc.. This competition does not accept image contain animal den or bird nest.( To avoid any incidents which interfere with young bird’s in nesting environments).
3.Division-Landscape Nature (Nature Category): This category refers to the pure natural scenery photography, images may contain wildlife and other natural environment elements in the works, but cannot contain roads, houses, fences, bridges, wires, etc. any artificial elements shows “hand of man ”.
4. Division-Pictorial (Open Category): Including all of the above categories of photography subjects and more, such as scenery, animals, architecture, figures, humanities, events, PS, post processing do not meet above categories, etc., can participate in this category of competition.
(1)Nature
1. Nature photography is restricted to the use of the photographic process to depict observations from all branches of natural history, except anthropology and archeology, in such a fashion that a well-informed person will be able to identify the subject material and to certify as to its honest presentation.
2. The story telling value of a photograph must be weighed more than the pictorial quality while maintaining high technical quality.
3. Human elements shall not be present, except on the rare occasion where those human elements enhance the nature story.
4. The presence of scientific bands, scientific tags or radio collars on wild animals is permissible.
5. Photographs of artificially produced hybrid plants or animals, mounted specimens, or obviously set arrangements, are ineligible, as is any form of manipulation that alters the truth of the photographic statement.
6. No techniques that add to, relocate, replace, or remove pictorial elements except by cropping are permitted.
7. Techniques that enhance the presentation of the photograph without changing the nature story or the pictorial content are permitted (e.g. adjustment of exposure, brightness, contrast, levels etc. globally or partially are permitted) ,any changes of digital pixel physical characteristic like“ blur” is not allowed(e.g. a well-focused subject become blurry); All images must be back up by RAW file. The judging committee reserve rights to obtain the original file of image to determine the award in case of dispute.
8. All adjustments must appear natural.
9. This competition accept monochrome image submission.
Usage of filter, digital post-processing techniques such as HDR / Exposure-Bracketing, focus stacking ,Long Exposure are permitted but should be kept minimal and look natural, image stitch is not allowed.
11. Divisions of Nature category:
A. Authentic Wildlife: Authentic wildlife is defined as one or more organisms living free and unrestrained in a natural or adopted habitat. Therefore, landscapes, photographs of zoo or game farm animals or any living subject taken under controlled conditions are not eligible for Authentic Wildlife competitions.
This competition does not accept image contain bird nest.( To avoid any incidents which interfere with young wildlife’s in nesting environments).
B. Authentic Wild Bird: Authentic wild bird is defined as one or more wild bird living free and unrestrained in a natural or adopted habitat. Therefore, landscapes, photographs of zoo or game farm birds or any living subject taken under controlled conditions are not eligible for Authentic Wild Bird competitions.
This competition does not accept image contain bird nest. (To avoid any incidents which interfere with young bird’s in nesting environments). C. Landscape Nature: In this sub-classification you can enter: landscapes, extreme weather conditions, rock formations, etc. Hand of man such as roads, fences, houses etc., should not be present.
Some images may be eligible entry more than one categories (e.g. image of an elephant stands under a mountain), they will be judged without bias with categories maker entered, and however, it is maker’s responsibility to determine which category to enter. Each image can only be submitted into one sub-category.
(2)OPEN PICTORIAL
In this division you can enter any image with a person or persons in whole or in part(e.g. An image of two holding hands, a portrait, a folk celebration scene of a village, a boy play with a dog .etc) can be enter in this category. You can also enter landscape with subject shows hand of man(e.g. manmade ladder field, Lake Louise shows boat house , bridge, building etc) and human interact with nature (e.g. a herder try to tame wild horse, a fish man spreading net by the ocean, etc.) It also includes post processing works that meet or do not meet the above division requirements.
For the purposes of promoting originality and creativity, this competition does not encourage staged image except studio portrait shot.
3.Award
1. Each division’s first, second and third place will be awarded 1 Canadian Association for Photographic Art( CAPA)’s gold, silver and bronze medal respectively. Each division will also award 3 outstanding Best of Award (such as the award for Best of Visual Impact, etc.), 10 Ribbon Award(Award of excellence), 50 Acceptance Award .
There are no restrictions on the number of awards an individual photographer may win.
There will be total 264 awards for the competition.
Each participant will receive a copy of the winning catalogue of 2018 Wildlife Photographic Competition.
The photographer whose winning images have the highest combine Award Accumulating Point (AAP, see below) will be granted the title of“2017 Nature Photographer of The Year”.
2.Rewards and incentives:
Gold : (6 AAP), CAPA gold medal and certificate ,$5,000 USD .
Silver:(5 AAP) , CAPA silver medal and certificate.$2,000 USD
Bronze:(4 AAP), CAPA bronze medal and certificate , $ 1,000 USD,
The Best of Award:(3 AAP), Trophy and certificate, $200 USD,
The Ribbon Award:(2 AAP), Ribbon and certificate, $ 100 USD,
The Acceptance Award:(1 AAP), Certificates.
3, The Grand Prize: 2018 Nature Photographer of The Year (the photographer who has highest AAP of the competition): $ 10,000 USD, a trophy and certificate.
4, According to the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) practice, the competition organizers - China Birdnet will publish winning catalogue of 2018 International Nature and Landscape Photographic Competition.
Photographic Competition (INLPC), all winning finalists are required to provide larger (more than 2000px longer side, resolution 200dpi ,color space, sRGB), for the catalogue production.
5, The AAP of this competition will transfer into the implementation of Birdnet Accumulating Point System (transfer standard will be published separately), an important basis for China Birdnet membership promotion, reward and participate in social activities.
6. The gold, silver and bronze medals of this competition were provided and awarded by CAPA.
7. The competition winning certificate by CAPA and China Birdnet.
1. Submitting Entries: Your digital files must be submitted electronically, using the provided website Entry Form.
2. Image Type and Size: JEPG is the required file type.
a. The maximum image size is 1400 X1050 pixels.
b. DPI (Dots per Inch) should be set to 300.
c. Each image file must be three megabyte (3MB) or less in size.
3. Judging Conditions: All digital images will be displayed to the judges at the Sponsor’s designated premises through a digital projector. Color space sRGB. Digital projector has resolution of 1920x1080 pixel, so all images will be shown in a best resolution.
4. Colour Space: It is recommended that before saving your JEPG files, you convert the colour space to sRGB, as this colour space will provide better quality under the projection conditions used for judging, and for the public presentation.
This Competition will follow the recommended practices of CAPA, FIAP,
All entries must comply with state laws and regulations, must be work of its maker only; Photographing and post-processing work must be completed by its maker and owns the copyright.
This competition is open to everyone.
Organizing Committee and Judging Committee reserve the right to reject and disqualify images does meet requirement of competition rules under reasonable judgment.
DEFINITIONS
1. An image must originate as a photograph (image-capture of objects via light sensitivity) made by the entrant on photographic emulsion (i.e. film) or acquired digitally.
2. All components of an image must have been captured with a camera (conventional or digital) by the entrant. An image or any component of an image, whether digital or otherwise, may not have originated otherwise; for example, a digital file acquired by use of a scanner, a digital file created solely by way of software or a downloaded digital file cannot be used as a component of an image. Similarly, graphic elements that are generated solely by software (e.g. words or letters, symbols, shapes etc.) cannot be used as a component of an image except where specifically required or allowed (e.g. title images in a series) or in photo essays and creative images so long as such graphic elements are incidental (e.g. titles).
Creative Borders are permissible in all categories, however borders in the Authentic Wildlife category should only be for the purpose of marking the starting point of an image ,the width of border should not exceed 1 pixel’s on each side, and should be a neutral grey color.
3. All images and components of an image must be the entire work of the entrant. In determining whether an image is the entire work of the entrant, the following rules are applicable:
a. A component of an image that may otherwise be considered to be the work of someone other than the entrant is permissible provided that it is obvious that such component is not the work of the entrant (e.g. a picture of a sculpture or a billboard). There should be no uncertainty as to what work is that of the entrant and what work might be that of someone else. For example, a photograph of an Ansel Adams photograph would not be permissible but a photograph of someone looking at an Ansel Adams photograph hanging on the wall would be permissible.
b. Substantial input by persons other than the entrant in making an image are not permitted, except in the case of photo essays where there may be two, but not more than two, joint entrants both of which must be Club members. For example, images taken at studio workshops or in similar circumstances where persons other than the entrant are assisting or collaborating in the making of the image are not permissible.
c. All work in creating an image that involves the application of more than nominal skill must be done by the entrant. Conversely, work that is substantially mechanical or involves standard functions may be done by third parties including commercial firms.
The following examples, while not exhaustive, are intended to illustrate the application of this rule:
i. Commercial processing of negative and positive film (including “push” or “pull” processing) is permissible.
ii. Standard commercial scanning of slides and/or prints into digital files is permissible; commercial “customized” scanning is not.
1. An entrant may enter up to 10 images in eachof four divisions; an entrant can enter up to 40 images in total in this competition.
2. Image titles are to be titled in English,(organizing committee will arrange Chinese to English translation) and each image must have a unique title. Titles should use upper case letters and/or numbers. Do not use punctuation or symbols, such as the following: !@#$%^&*(){}|+:"<>?
3. The maximum title length is 35 characters, which includes spaces.
4. Images almost identical in style and subject matter are not eligible for re-submission in any category.
5. Each Division will be judged by a panel of three qualified judges.
6. Entrants must own the copyright of images used in any submitted work. The organizers of this competition accept no liability for any breach or misuse of copyright.
7. Entries must originate as photographs (image-captures of objects via light sensitivity) made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or acquired digitally. By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his/her own and permits the sponsor to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publication and/or display in media related to the exhibition, while the make still retains copyright of the image. This may include low resolution posting on a website.
8. Images may be altered, either electronically or otherwise (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.), by the maker and artwork or computer graphics created by the entrant may be incorporated if the photographic content predominates, subject to category restrictions. The competition organizers will take great care of the entered work but decline any responsibility in case of loss, theft or deterioration , damage during transit, or otherwise.
9. Every entrant can enter 10 images in total in each division; there is no series images division, all images will be judged by its own merit.
10. Entries received after the closing date will NOT be accepted.
11. The judging committee reserve rights to determine the eligibility of entry in all categories.
12. The judging committee reserve rights to explain the rules of competition.
First 1-4images (including 4 images) in any combination of divisions: $30.00 CAD. From fifth image and more: $12.50CAD/each image.
